After the first rescue, the firefighters were finally able to identify the creature. The poor little creatures were puppies. These puppies obviously had no business being in the sewer, and the team was still stumped as to what they were doing there.

It was an upsetting sight to see the abandoned puppies in the sewer. The firefighters were left to wonder if someone had put them down there. It wasn’t unheard of for owners to discard of their animals when they were no longer wanted.
