It was a difficult birth, taking seven hours total. Eric and Johnny waited to see the babies, and the doctors knew of the potential paternity dispute. Therefore, they were taken elsewhere for basic testing without Cynthia seeing them. It upset her and worried her, as well.

In the end, Cynthia was exhausted. She wasn’t out of the woods because of the many other problems to solve. In fact, she couldn’t deal with losing her babies and giving them to Johnny. However, he was respectful enough to distance himself from them and let them cope.
