Unpaid Internships
This is the big one: unpaid internships became the norm and many a young professional hopeful spent summers (and often longer) fetching coffee, photocopying, and filing for absolutely zero compensation. They suffered silently in order to receive the coveted letter of recommendation. While this was totally normal for Boomers, many people in younger generations are fighting back against unpaid internships. All work should be compensated properly.
