Modry Kostol (Blue Church)

The Blue Church is actually called the Church of St. Elisabeth, but everyone refers to it as the Blue Church. The cotton candy blue structure is beautiful, and even has blue pews inside. It’s just outside of the Old Town, so you can head here first before exploring the rest of the historic city center. You’ll truly feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale here.

Old Town Hall

The Old Town Hall was the house of the mayor back in the medieval 13th century. As time went on, newer portions were added and created a diverse collection of architectural styles, including the neo-Gothic chapel of St. Ladislav from the 15th century as well as the 16th century Renaissance arcade. The City Museum is located inside, and has been there since 1868!
