Asheville, North Carolina
In Asheville, you can enjoy the beauty of the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains while also enjoying a lovely mountainside town, where there are a lot of local art galleries and shops. You can also enjoy plenty of hikes with the many trails available. Of course, you must visit the Biltmore Estate that was built in the 1800s by George Vanderbilt. Estes Park, Colorado
Estes Park is right near Rocky Mountain National Park, and this north Colorado park is a great choice for those who are very active and enjoy getting outside. For any film buffs, you can actually visit the Stanley Hotel, which is the location that inspired Stephen King’s The Shining.
